2010 Napa Valley
Cabernet Sauvignon
The Louis M. Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a deep burgundy color with aromas of dark fruits, smoky cedar and dried herbs. Concentrated flavors of black cherry and blackberry are framed nicely by cedar and toast notes on the finish. Rich and broad in the mouth, this wine has a long finish with an expansive palate. This is a well structured and balanced wine that is medium-to-full-bodied and is ready to enjoy now or can be aged up to 5 years.

In The Vineyard
The 2010 vintage was one of the coolest vintages on record. Subsequently, the grapes matured at a slow pace, allowing for intense flavor and tannin development while retaining the grape's natural acidity. We selected the Cabernet fruit from all parts of the Napa Valley, from Calistoga to the Oak Knoll District, including much of our own grapes from the William Hill Estate Vineyard, Sage Canyon Vineyard and Ghost Pines Vineyard. Merlot, Petite Sirah, Petite Verdot and Syrah grapes were added to enhance complexity and nuance from select sites in Napa and our famed Monte Rosso Vineyard.
