Cellar No. 254 Series
Cellar 254 is a “winery within a winery” located within the Louis M. Martini Winery. The name is derived from the street address, 254 St. Helena Highway. Cellar 254 represents the Gallo family’s total commitment to producing the highest quality wine possible by allowing winemakers to create the ultimate expressions of fruit from their coveted sources. After Gallo purchased the Louis M. Martini Winery in 2002, plans began immediately for construction of new facility, which came online in 2003. Designed as a state of the art tool enabling various winemakers to precisely control how each wine is made, including how each individual block is vinified. Wines made in Cellar 254 represent the best Gallo has to offer from the North Coast of California. Truly unique wines are hand crafted here including a very bold but beautifully smooth and balanced Petite Sirah, Cabernet Rose, and Merlot. 200-400 cases for each wine is all we produce of each vintage.
