2014 Cellar No. 254 Meritage

2014 Louis M. Martini Cellar No. 254 Meritage is a richly flavored, full-bodied wine that opens with plush aromas of plum, cinnamon, and rosemary. Those weave through flavors that include raspberry jam, chocolate, mulling spices and vanilla bean. The elegant mouthfeel and superb balance of fruit, earthiness and herbs are framed by a seamless acidity. The long, silky finish includes hints of crème brûlée and promises the wine will age gracefully for years.

2015 Cellar No. 254 Petite Sirah

Petite Sirah wine is an inky, perfumed and spicy red that has long captured the imagination of vintners in the Napa Valley. This beautiful, small-production 2014 Louis M. Martini Napa Valley handcraft Petite Sirah comes from our historic 10-acre Thomann Station Vineyard nestled just behind our winery in St. Helena. It offers the vast warmth of the valley floor and the deep gravelly loam soils that are ideal for growing Petite Sirah. The wine’s dark purple color is classic, as are the enticing aromas of blueberry, dark chocolate and juicy plum. The dense and powerful dark fruit flavors meld into a seamless frame of fine, elegant tannins. The finish is long, layered and expressive, with bold notes of toasted oak, barbecue spice and grilled meat.
