2021 Monte Rosso Vineyard Mountain Red
Located in the Moon Mountain sub-AVA of Sonoma Valley, Monte Rosso Vineyard sits at nearly 1,300 feet in elevation along the spine of the Mayacama mountain range, straddling Napa and Sonoma Valleys. A tribute to the great varieties of Southern France, this Mountain Red is comprised of Grenache, Syrah and a touch of Viognier. Aromas of fresh strawberries and raspberries, clover honey, blood orange and a macadamia/hazelnut oak character precede notes of pomegranate, black licorice, fresh black cherries and blonde roast coffee. The wine’s medium body, mouthwatering acidity and lively tannins lead to a vibrant finish.
