2022 Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon

2022 vintage was hot, testing both vines and winemakers! The Coombsville AVA is tamed by the coolness of San Pablo Bay, which benefited us during a sweltering year. We aged this medium-bodied beauty in a 50/50 combination of new and used oak, allowing the fruit to show through. Aromas of black cherry compote, star anise, and bay leaf give way to notes of red plum and coriander, culminating in a lengthy, toasted oak finish.
