2022 Stagecoach Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes
Concentrated cassis, blackberry, licorice, and sweet vanilla announce the kind of fruit you only get from a high-elevation site like Stagecoach. Cocoa, mixed berry compote, and wood spice lead on the palate, framed by 21 months in mostly new French oak. Ripe and opulent, with melted tannins and seamless acidity carrying a full-bodied finish. Pour it now with slow-cooked Sunday roast or grilled lamb chops, or cellar 10 to 15 years.
“A big, beautiful, full-bodied wine from mountain-grown grapes that highlights ripeness, a firm texture and a long finish.”
