Louis M. Martini began ranking his most exceptional Cabernet lots in 1948. Not to create a luxury tier, but because he believed the best barrels deserved to be held to a higher standard — blended with intention, and released only when they were ready. That discipline became Lot No. 1. and it's been the pinnacle of our portfolio ever since.
This set brings together three vintages of that wine. They all share the same uncompromising standard.
Three bottles. Three moments. One unbroken line of craft. This set includes 1 bottle of each 2013, 2014 and 2018 Lot No 1. Cabernet Sauvignon presented in a wood box.

THE 2013 — Open Tonight
Dark chocolate, inky dark berry compote, massive tannins that have settled into something generous and long. The finish earns its length. Open it at the table you're most proud of, with people who'll notice. It's ready.
THE 2014 — At Its Peak
Blackberry jam, boysenberry, crème brûlée, a finish that layers fruit over toasted oak. This is Lot No. 1 at its most refined. Decant it for 30 minutes and pay attention.
THE 2018 — Still Becoming
It's showing beautifully now. But if you can hold it two or three more years, it'll tell you something it can't quite say yet. Open it in 2028 — or on a night that deserves something still becoming.
