DISCOVER THE NUANCES OF AGED WINES

“Wine has been made for thousands of years, so having the patience to save wines adds a bit of this cultural history to your own life. These library verticals offer a rare chance to experience wine that has evolved through aging, giving you a unique perspective on the impact of time.”

— Zach Watkins, Winemaker

LOT NO. 1 VERTICAL

Includes one bottle each of:
2013, 2014 & 2018
Lot No. 1 Cabernet Sauvignon

Robust and elegant, Lot No. 1 stands at the pinnacle of our portfolio. This vertical includes some of our most sought-after Cabernets, including the elusive 100-point 2013 vintage (Wine Advocate, 2017), packaged in a wooden collector’s box. The history of Lot No. 1 dates back over 75 years, when Louis Martini would identify exceptional lots, selecting them to craft his finest wine.

CROWN CABERNET VERTICAL

Includes one bottle each of:
2016 Cypress Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon
2017 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
2018 Stagecoach Cabernet Sauvignon

This unique perspective overlays vintage with the microclimates along Napa Valley’s Vaca Mountains. Cypress Ranch, sitting in the northeastern foothills of Howell Mountain, has the largest diurnal shift. Moving south, yet higher in elevation, sits the sunny yet cool Howell Mountain, while further south lies the rugged, rocky terrain of the celebrated Stagecoach Vineyard.

MONTE ROSSO CABERNET SAUVIGNON VERTICAL

Includes one bottle each of:
2013, 2014 & 2015
Monte Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon

Monte Rosso Vineyard has been producing wines of unmistakable character and longevity for over a century, influenced by its southwest-facing aspect and iron-rich, volcanic soils. Distinguishing characteristics are dark fruit, spice, minerality, and an acidity that’s made for meals. Acidity is one of the key factors in the ageability of wine, and Monte Rosso reliably delivers.

CABERNET FRANC VERTICAL

Includes one bottle each of:
2015, 2017 & 2019
Monte Rosso Cabernet Franc

Our Cabernet Franc, from the two blocks planted at Monte Rosso, highlights the variety’s signature qualities through the lens of our historic vineyard. The fragrant bouquet of classic herbaceous aromas is tinged with sweetness and spice-imbued characteristics from the iron-rich soil. Framed by mouthwatering tannins, this medium-bodied wine makes a beautiful pairing to any menu.
